Growmark, an agricultural cooperative and petroleum distributor, has recognized the National Biodiesel Board (NBB) and its chief executive officer, Joe Jobe, for leadership and vision in the biofuels industry.
Growmark presented the annual Friend of Growmark award to Jobe and the NBB August 24 at the company’s annual meeting in Chicago. The company gives the award to individuals and organizations for their contributions to the well-being of cooperatives and agriculture.
Jobe has served with NBB for 10 years. The NBB represents the biodiesel industry as the coordinating body for biodiesel research and development in the United States. Its members include feedstock producers and processors, soybean commodity boards, biodiesel suppliers, and fuel marketers and distributors.
