    The US Chamber of Commerce named John Ruan III as its vice-chairman for 2010 in a June 9 election by the board. Ruan is chairman and chief executive officer of Ruan Transport Corporation in Des Moines IA. He also serves as director and chairman of Iowa Export-Import Trading Co and the World Food Prize Foundation; director, chairman, and president of City Center Corp; director of Seven Hundred Grand Association; trustee of John Ruan Foundation Trust; and director, chairman, president, and CEO of Ruan Center Corp and Ruan Inc.
