Peter Jürging is the new executive officer in charge of information technology at the international logistics service provider Hoyer Group, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. He previously was IT manager for Smurfit Kappa Germany, a manufacturer of paper-based packaging. He will report to Gerd Peters, chief financial officer.
Westway Group Inc announced that, effective October 1, 2010, Wayne N Driggers has retired as its president and chief operating officer and will become a full-time consultant to the company. He has been with Westway for more than 19 years and has served as COO since 2009. Driggers will continue to serve as a director of the company.
