Dupré CEO joins Committee of 100

Reggie Dupre, chief executive officer of Dupre Logistics in Lafayette LA, has been selected as a member of the Committee of 100 for Economic Development Inc.

Reggie Dupre, chief executive officer of Dupre Logistics in Lafayette LA, has been selected as a member of the Committee of 100 for Economic Development Inc.

The committee (C100) is a private non-profit, non-partisan organization whose membership includes more than 100 CEOs of leading private and public companies in Louisiana and university executives of Louisiana’s institutions of higher learning. C100 was created in 1992 to provide leadership and resources to bring about positive change in government, education, and the economy to improve the quality of life for the people of Louisiana. The committee is a non-government organization (NGO) supported by business leaders in Louisiana dedicated to the state’s long-term economic growth.

Reggie Dupré is also a board member of Blueprint Louisiana, a non-profit organization that focuses on developing public policy that improves the condition of Louisiana.

C100’s primary focus is to assist the state to attract and retain industry, ensuring quality jobs for Louisianans. The committee supports the Louisiana Economic Development Department and the major regional economic development agencies in the business and industrial recruitment process by marketing and promoting Louisiana as a business location, by providing resources to enhance efforts of economic development entities engaged in business attraction and to provide access to the critical thinking capacity of members.

Reggie joins other Acadiana C100 members that include Richard Zuschlag, Clay Allen, Bill Fenstermaker, Jim Poche, Darryl Byrd, Rusty Cloutier, Joe Savoie, and Gus Zepernick.

The committee works closely with others in the state such as Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), Public Affairs Research Council (PAR), Council for A Better Louisiana (CABL), Blue Print Louisiana, and Businesses for Improving Louisiana Development (BILD) to address critical issues that affect economic growth.
