In total, 35 employees serve at the Cincinnati facility, which is one of four terminals in Ohio. DistTech employs 160 people in Ohio.

DistTech plans to leverage the rail system in the Cincinnati area to offer customers transloading services and also intends to extend local shuttle and storage options for liquid bulk commodities. With a 1,000-square-foot office and two acres of parking, the Cincinnati-area terminal is one of the largest facilities in the company’s network of more than 35 facilities across the United States and Canada. The facility has a locker room facility, an expanded cafeteria and lounge area, as well as additional amenities.

The Cincinnati area facility, which replaces an older terminal in Dayton, is the company’s second new terminal to open in Ohio in the last two months, after beginning to operate a new terminal in Cleveland in April. Since 2006, the company has opened 10 new terminals.
