DHS adds 5 more ports to TWIC enrollment

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has begun the initial enrollment for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) for five ports

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has begun the initial enrollment for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) for the ports of Ponce, Puerto Rico, Laporte TX, Portsmouth NH, Chattanooga TN, and San Juan Puerto Rico, according to information published in the Federal Register.

TWIC enrollment begins in Ponce April 17, 2008, Laporte April 23, 2008, Portsmouth and Chattanooga April 23, 2008; and in San Juan April 30, 2008.
