Whiting Systems Inc (WSI) announced that its 500th SmartWash system is being built, and it will soon be in production washing trucks for Penske at its Las Vegas NV location.

WSI started distributing pressure washers and automated truck wash equipment in 1974. As the trucking industry grew, a requirement for an industrial-strength automated truck wash emerged, and WSI started manufacturing its own equipment. What developed is the current generation of SmartWash drive-through, touchless gantry, and three-brush rollover gantry technology.
