Quala Systems Inc, (QualaWash) Tampa, Florida, has acquired four tank cleaning facilities from Brite Clean Inc located in Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas, said Michael Bauer, QualaWash president.
"This addition to QualaWash solidifies our service to the East Coast and offers our customers quality service throughout the United States," Bauer said.
The newly-purchased Brite Clean facilities include a four-bay chemical tank wash in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, overseen by Dan Bright. The facility offers full-service chemical tank trailer cleaning along with ISO tank container and tote washes. A three-bay shop also is available. Service is provided Monday-Friday, 24 hours.
Also part of the Brite Clean acquisition is a five-bay chemical cleaning facility in Houston, Texas. Stephanie George is the facility manager and directs services that include, in addition to tank trailer cleaning, ISO and tote wash and maintenance. It is a tank container full-service depot. The facility is open Monday-Saturday, 24 hours.
At Carteret, New Jersey, QualaWash purchased Gateway Terminal Services Corp, a Brite Clean Co. The two-bay foodgrade and eight-bay chemical tank wash is managed by Mark Jackson. In addition to tank trailer cleaning, it is a full-service depot for ISO tank containers and wash rack for totes. The tank wash is open Monday-Friday, 24 hours.
The fourth Brite Clean purchase is in Markham (Chicago), Illinois, and offers full chemical service under the direction of Thomas Czalbowski. The facility has five bays for tank cleaning and two bays for vehicle maintenance and repairs. It is open Monday-Friday, 24 hours.
All of the facilities are on-call for service around the clock and have tank container heat and lift capabilities. Bauer also added that QualaWash is in the process of evaluating the facilities for future expansions.
The Brite Clean acquisitions, which became effective May 1, bring the QualaWash count to 40 tank wash facilities throughout the United States, of which five have ISO lift capabilities and five operate full-maintenance centers. Another tank cleaning operation is in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.
