No acid washing required for Alumaclear coating

Rob Loney at Alumaclear, Kaleva MI, is reminding tank wash facilities to look for an Alumaclear decal on tanks that indicate the vessel is clear-coated and no acid washing is needed.
"We are trying to help out in the acid washing needs and this seems to be the answer for less acid into the water tables, water systems, and water treatment systems," Loney said.
The red and white decal is placed on the drivers side, front corner of the tank.
Alumaclear provides a protective coating formulated for aluminum tank trailers. Most aluminum surfaces can be polished for the Alumaclear process to take place and provide protection.
