Dec 1, 2003 12:00 PM

Kim Richardson Transportation Specialists, a truck driver training school near Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, is offering a four-hour, hours-of-service training program for drivers and owner-operators who operate in the United States.

Company officials say the program will help drivers prepare for the HOS rules when they take effect Jan 4, 2004.

Topics in the program cover objectives of the new HOS standard, simplifying of the rules, recordkeeping requirements, and driver/carrier compliance. KRTS says the program can be delivered on-site to trucking companies. For more information, phone 800-771-8171.
