DOT, DHS award funding for container monitoring

The Departments of Transportation and Homeland Security have awarded $2.5 million in funding to PAR Government Systems Corp to develop and deploy the company's CargoWatch, a program that tracks and maintains security of intermodal shipping containers. The program monitors transport assets and cargo throughout the intermodal shipment lifecycle.
