FMCSA withdraws CDL learner permit proposal

Feb 27, 2006 7:04 AM

Because of other regulations pertaining to commercial driver license regulations, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has withdrawn an earlier proposal related to CDL learner permits, according to information published in the Federal Register February 23.

FMCSA determined that CDL regulations introduced following the terrorists attacks on the United States in 2001 make the earlier proposal obsolete.
