TWIC enrollment
begins in more ports

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has begun the initial enrollment for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) for the ports of Longview WA, Vancouver WA, Terminal Island CA, and Decatur AL, according to information published in the Federal Register.
TWIC enrollment begins in Longview June 26, 2008, Vancouver July 3, 2008, Terminal Island June 26, 2008, and Decatur July 16, 2008. Other ports conducting the program announced earlier can be found online at the TSA Web site tsagov.
