Trican Well Service Ltd, Calgary AB, Canada, has become one of North America’s largest providers of oil and gas pumping services. The company services oil and gas exploration and production operators in seven countries, including Canada and the United StaDuring a special ceremony at Kenworth’s Renton WA plant in 2012, the historic 250,000th Kenworth T800 was received by Trican Well Service Ltd. Trican’s Kenworth T800 standard tractors feature Cummins ISX15 engines, driven through 18-speed transmissions. Axle ratings normally are 14,600 pounds on the front, 46,000 pounds on the rears with the Kenworth AG460 air-ride suspension.Some tri-drive T800s feature pusher axles, and all of them come with a factory-installed PTO.A Trican unit handles coiled tubing at a well site. The company operates a diverse range of oilfield service equipment, much of it designed inhouse by company specialists.
