When winter arrives, S&B Kessler Inc, New Carlisle IN, stays busy hauling propane throughout a five-state area in the Midwest. The carrier also handles anhydrous ammonia and some refined fuels. The carrier currently runs 25 tractors and 46 tank trailers.Barry Kessler built S&B Kessler into a small, but very successful tank truck carrier specializing in propane.Kenworth tractors, T800s and W900s, are standard in the S&B Kessler fleet. Hydraulic systems from STAC Inc are mounted on the tractors to power trailer-mounted product pumps.Fiberglass fenders from WTI Truck Accessories help give the tractors a customized look.Blackmer pumps are used on all of the MC331 trailers in the S&B Kessler fleet.
S&B Kessler specifies Michelin X One tires on most of the trailers and tractors in the fleet.
