With seven transload sites in California and Arizona, Ventura Transfer has become one of the largest West Coast intermodal operators. Microbulk tanks supply nitrogen used to pressure offload various chemicals from rail tankcars.Ventura Transfer assembled its own trailer-mounted boiler units that are used to steam heat railcar cargoes before transloading.
