Blue Diamond specified a stainless steel SaniMatic wash system. When detergent is called for, it is injected directly into the wash water stream and is discharged to the wastewater pretreatment system after use. Rinse water recirculates through the system for reuse.

Opened in July 2009, Blue Diamond Tank & Truck Wash in Le Mars IA can handle a wide range of foodgrade tank cleaning. The wash rack has cleaning approvals from dairy processors, kosher authorities, and ConAgra Foods Inc.A local welder fabricated the mezzanines and work platforms in the tank cleaning bays. The work platform and gangway assembly includes a cage that provides wash workers with fall protection while they are on top of tank trailers.Blue Diamond specified a stainless steel SaniMatic wash system. A 250-hp Hurst boiler provides plenty of steam and hot water for the Blue Diamond operation.Driver features include a lounge with high-definition television, wireless Internet access, and showers.A fully equipped kitchen is part of the driver lounge, and management plans to keep the refrigerator stocked with food.
