Feed hauling makes a significant contribution to the bottom line for Mills Trucking. Five walking-floor trailers are used to transport animal feed throughout a six-state area. Feed shipments go to farms, feed mills, and farm co-ops.Most of the milk tankers in the Mills Trucking fleet were built by Walker Stainless Equipment Co. The full-frame, insulated, stainless steel trailers have a 6,300-gallon capacity.This Tremcar milk tanker has performed well for the Mills Trucking fleet. Most of the fleet’s tank trailers were purchased through Semo Tank/Baker Equipment Co.
Product hose and a stainless steel Jabsco pump are carried in the cabinet at the rear of each trailer.Stainless tanks provide refrigerated storage at the dairy farms served by Mills Trucking until the milk can be picked up and transported to a processing plant.
