At Mac-Del Inc in Richmond IN, the tank wash, commercial shop, and transportation services are run in a diversified operation that bodes well for the current sluggish economy. Here, Randon Robinson, a wash rack worker, lowers a Sellers spinner into a MillMichael Van Duyn, Mac-Del vice-president, and his daughter Kelley McElhany, who oversees administrative functions, represent two of the three generations involved in the family business.These 575-gallon stainless steel vats contain clear coat cleaning solution, caustic, and hot and cold water for two specialized bays dedicated to BASF Corp.

A warehouse adjacent to the shop has plenty of space for IBC storage.A BASF tank trailer undergoes a specialized procedure in one of two bays dedicated to BASF operations, one bay for specific products and the other for initial cleaning. Each of the dedicated bays has individual 575-gallon stainless steel vats and piping.
