Over the past 26 years, Lowell C Hagen Trucking Inc has thrived as a food hauler based in Whitewater WI. Milk gave the carrier its start and remains important, but the company expanded into a much wider range of products over more than two decades. Freightliners account for most of the tractors in the fleet.Lowell C Hagen Trucking runs a few six-axle rigs in farm pick-up operations. Milk tankers in the fleet typically have a 6,200-gallon capacity.
Foodgrade tank trailers for the Lowell C Hagen Trucking fleet come from Walker Group and Polar Tank Trailer. The trailers have hydraulically powered Ibex or Viking product pumps in rear-mounted cabinets.Shorter three-axle tank trailer offer better maneuverability at some dairy farms. A third axle is needed with the shorter trailers to meet bridge laws.A majority of the vehicle maintenance is handled in-house at Lowell C Hagen Trucking. This shop at the Janesville WI terminal is one of three in the company system. The carrier also has its own fleet fueling facilities.
