The two tank truck carriers are part of Grupo Transportes Monterrey, which stands out as one of Mexico’s premier trucking companies. The interline partners supply most of the chemical tank trailers hauled by GTM’s Transportes Jorge Ancer.Transportes Lopez e Hijos is the primary Mexican carrier providing trucking service to Bulkmatic de Mexico, which operates eight transload locations in Mexico. Transportes Lopez e Hijos and Bulkmatic have been partners since Bulkmatic launched its MexicoEstablished in 1985, Transportes Jorge Ancer handles a broad range of chemicals and corrosives. The carrier provides service across the northern half of Mexico and operates out of 10 strategically located terminals.
Built by RETESA, this stainless steel chemical trailer can carry 43,000 liters (11,359 gallons). In Mexico, these trailers can be operated in doubles trains up to 31 meters (101 feet) long and with a gross combination weight up to 75 tonnes (165,346 poundIn addition to pulling dry bulk trailers for Bulkmatic de Mexico, Transportes Lopez e Hijos runs its own bulkers that are used to serve other customers in Mexico.
