Focusing on industrial gases has brought steady growth for GenOx Transportation Inc, LaPorte TX. The carrier currently runs 120 tractors and 120 specialized trailers, serving customers across the United States and in parts of Canada. The latest move for the carrier is expansion into LNG hauling.

Pictured is one of three small maintenance shops in the GenOx Transportation system. This shop is in LaPorte TX. In addition to routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs, GenOx mechanics rebuild trailer product pumps and motors.Kevin O’Brien is one of two mechanics at the GenOx headquarters terminal in LaPorte TX.Inside the rear-mounted cabinet of a cryogenic trailer are an array of valves, switches, and gauges.
Deliveries are monitored by digital meters from Integrated Cryogenics Electronics and Sponsler Co Inc (an IDEX Corp division).Most trailers carry a single two-inch, double-braided stainless-steel product hose supplied by Hose & Fittings in Houston TX.Trailer-mounted product pumps are powered by Kubota diesel engines.
New trailers are specified with Bridgestone widebase single tires, Alcoa aluminum disc wheels, and Hendrickson’s Tiremaax inflation system.
