New tractor and trailer purchases at Bulkmatic Transport Co, Griffith IN, in 2011 included this Freightliner Business Class M2 112 tractor and MAC PneuMACtic dry bulker. The carrier provides trucking, transloading, and warehouse services throughout NorthRoughly half of Bulkmatic Transport’s 40 terminals have maintenance shops.Lead oxide is hauled in these unusual six-axle dry bulk rigs. New purchases in 2011 included Mack tractors with Mack 395-hp engines and Beall high-cube flour trailers.Fuel islands at the Bulkmatic Transport terminals have a bulk dispensing unit for diesel exhaust fluid.Tractors are specified with Gardner Denver blowers and Sure Seal mufflers and filters.
New Beall flour trailers were specified with a Sure Seal air filter on the intake piping.Dry bulker hardware includes Sure Seal butterfly valves and Dixon Bayco check valves.Bulkmatic Transport is specifying Michelin widebase single tires on new trailers and tractors. This is the three-axle configuration on the new lead oxide trailers.
