The carrier transports bulk powdered foods to customers across the United Kingdom and Europe. The company installed a bag-to-bulk discharge system at its Droitwich, Worcester, UK, distribution center for increased productivity and flexibility.

The company installedPneumatic lines leading to and returning from the dry bulk<br /> trailers transfer powdered foods quickly and easily from<br />the de-bagging system.Powdered foods are gravity fed from the hopper through a<br /> rotary airlock with a pick-up adapter for discharge into a<br />pneumatic line leading to the dry bulk trailer.
One pneumatic line discharges product into the dry bulk trailer’s inlet port, and air is returned to the facility through a second line.
