David R Purvis [left], Ergon Trucking Inc, presents a plaque to Neil Voorhees, Trimac Transportation Inc, in appreciation of Voorhees’ service as the National Tank Truck Carriers Safety & Security Council chairman for the past year. Purvis assumed the chairmanship at the council’s annual meeting April 6-8 in Nashville TN. Other Safety & Security Council officers elected during the meeting include Dan Athmer, Commercial Transport Inc, vice-chairman and Region III; Becky Perlaky, Kenan Advantage Group, Region I; Ray Riley, Miller Transporters, Region II; and Andrew Woods, Bulk Transportation, Region IV.
