With its 14 tractors and 14 dry bulkers, Coover Trucking Inc hauls cement and related products throughout Kansas and into the surrounding states. A diverse customer base generates business virtually year-round. The fleet operates out of facilities in ErieCoover Trucking Inc is a family operation. Family members include [from left] Dave Coover and his cousin Mike.While full-service leasing has proved to be beneficial, Coover Trucking plans to continue running some company-owned tractors. Weight-saving specifications include a single 120-gallon fuel tank on tractors.Coover Trucking uses primarily Gardner Denver blowers, but the carrier has tried some Tuthill blowers on new tractors.Cat’s Eye tire-pressure monitoring units are specified on Coover Trucking’s tractors and trailers.Drivers refuel tractors from this 12,000-gallon storage tank at Coover Trucking’s Humboldt KS terminal. Diesel fuel also is available at the Erie KS location.
