Feb 10, 2005 2:58 PM

Thomas P Lynch has been named vice-president, general council, for National Tank Truck Carriers Inc (NTTC), effective February 1.

He will succeed John Conley as vice-president when Conley becomes NTTC president after Cliff Harvison retires at the end of 2005.

Lynch formerly worked on the NTTC staff for five years in the 1990s and returns after serving as legislative director to Rep Nick J Rahall (D-WV), a senior member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

“We’re very fortunate to have Tom back for a second run,” Harvison said. “We know he will put his outstanding abilities and experience to work for the cargo tank truck industry’s benefit."

Lynch holds a law degree from Georgia State University and is a member of the District of Columbia Bar. In addition to other responsibilities as NTTC vice-president, he will handle legal duties.
