UNEV purchases Utah terminal facility

UNEV Pipeline LLC, Dallas TX, has purchased the Cedar City UT petroleum products terminal and rail facilities of Musket Corp. It will be operated by Holly Energy Partners-Operating LP, Dallas.
According to a UNEV news release, the $9.8-million purchase will be used in combination with UNEV's planned terminal and pipeline that will be adjacent to the Cedar City facility. The new UNEV pipeline will provide refined product service to Southwestern Utah. Contracts for construction on the new terminal have been signed and construction activities are expected to begin in the next 30 days with completion scheduled for late 2009 and startup in early 2010. UNEV also is planning to build a terminal in Las Vegas NV.
