TRANSCAER Workshop Planned for Mobile, Alabama

The Chlorine Institute is sponsoring a TRANSCAER Workshop and Emergency Response Exercise on Friday and Saturday, June 15 and 16, 2001, at the National Guard Armory, Fort Whiting, in Mobile, Alabama.

Friday's event will include classroom instruction, handson emergency response workshops and equipment demonstrations for public emergency responders who may have to respond to chemical transportation emergencies. On Saturday, Mobile County will test their emergency response plans by responding to a simulated tank car incident.
