Norfolk Southern opens new terminal in Fayetteville NC

Norfolk Southern Railway Company, Norfolk VA, has established a new Thoroughbred Bulk Transfer terminal at Fayetteville NC that will be operated by Tidewater Transit Company Inc, based in Kinston NC.

With 50 railcar spots and separate tracks for food products, the terminal can handle both dry and liquid bulk products. Products handled include plastic pellets and liquid chemical and food products.

The facility features paving, security, full fencing, steam boiler for product heating, lighting, 24-hour access, and truck scales.
