Shell, Motiva back online

Sep 28, 2005 1:59 PM

Shell Oil Company and Motiva Enterprises LLC, Houston TX, are reporting that both the North Houston and Pasadena Texas distribution terminals are fully operational after hurricane Rita.

Tank trucks are expected to deliver approximately 270,000 gallons of gasoline to Shell stations in Houston and the surrounding communities.

Across Texas, Shell and Motiva continue to mobilize trucks and drivers to provide fuel to the primary cities housing evacuees, including Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, and most stations have sufficient supply.

Re-fueling priorities are dedicated to locations used for emergency service vehicles as well as those on the primary routes for residents returning to evacuated areas, including Interstate 45, Interstate 10 and Highway 290.
