ATRI to conduct truck on-board recorders survey

Jan 31, 2006 11:34 AM

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) is conducting a multi-phased study on usage issues and opportunities associated with electronic on-board recorders for hours-of-service record-keeping among motor carriers.

ATRI is conducting three surveys to better understand the current recorder climate of usage and industry perspectives.

The institute is seeking the participation of current and future recorder vendors, motor carriers currently using the technologies for HOS record-keeping, and motor carriers that have considered but rejected the technologies for HOS record-keeping.
