Pilot Flying J kicked off Road Warrior, a new initiative celebrating and honoring professional truck drivers throughout North America.
“Road Warriors are drivers who go the extra mile,” says Anne LeZotte, Pilot Flying J communications manager. “We want to recognize the hard work, dedication, and determination of professional drivers. This is our way of showing them that we greatly appreciate their efforts and thanking them for all they do for our economy.”
Anyone can nominate a Road Warrior, and drivers can nominate themselves. Daily and weekly Road Warriors will receive a variety of prizes including a Road Warrior t-shirt, MyRewards points, and an assortment of other items. The grand prize for the ultimate Road Warrior is $10,000.
Voting is currently open and Road Warriors can be nominated through October 31, 2014. Once nominations close, finalists will be selected and open voting will begin for the final Road Warrior. The ultimate Road Warrior will be announced in December.
