The National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) has entered into an exclusive sponsorship agreement with PeopleNet and TMW Systems in support of fundraising events for NTTC PAC, the association’s political action committee. That partnership will be on full display at NTTC’s annual conference April 27-29 in Las Vegas NV.

NTTC PAC’s mission is to contribute to candidates for Congress who understand the issues that impact the tank truck industry.  All funds raised by NTTC PAC go toward funding the campaigns of federal candidates. NTTC PAC is bipartisan and determines candidates’ eligibility to receive PAC funds based on their past voting record and promotion of issues important to the tank truck industry.

“We’re extremely pleased to partner with two recognized industry leaders like PeopleNet and TMW as we continue the expansion of our advocacy efforts in Washington DC,” said William A Usher Jr, NTTC advocacy chairman & PAC treasurer. “Their significant commitment allows the NTTC to cover its PAC fundraising expenses and better apply its resources to those candidates who understand our industry and our unique operating concerns.”

PeopleNet Senior Vice-President Garland Jackson added: “As key industry partners to our customers, we recognize the difficult landscape for the tank truck segment and we’re pleased to offer assistance that can make a difference. We work very closely with the NTTC and many of its carrier members, and helping NTTC with its PAC is an ideal way for PeopleNet and TMW Systems to lend our voice and support to the tank truck industry.”
