ILTA introduces safety award program

The Independent Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA)will present its first Terminal Safety Award at the 27th annual ILTA Operating conference and Trade Show June 11-13 in Houston TX.
The award will recognize "exemplary safety performance" during the prior year. ILTA will distribute a safety survey to all terminal members that will include an invitation to participate in the award program, ILTA said.
All ILTA member companies will be eligible to compete regardless of size. Criteria will include current and recent safety performance data, as well as additional information detailing commitment to, improvement in, and demonstration of a safe working environment for employees. Further definitions of the criteria will be forthcoming.
