Fire department looking for tank trailer donations

Mar 15, 2007 9:54 AM

An assistant chief in the training division of the Little Rock AR Fire Department is looking for donations of tank trailers that are no longer serviceable, but capable of being transported to the department's site.

"We have just completed a drill field complex and are now acquiring props for various evolutions, including hazardous materials work," J T Cantrell wrote in an e-mail to Bulk Transporter. "We would be interested in nearly anything such as DOT/MC 306s, 307s, 312s, or even 338s. "We are willing to pay the transport cost and would furnish a letter attesting to the donation of the trailer for the owner's estimated value for tax purposes.

For more information, contact Cantrell at 624 S Chester St, Little Rock AR or telephone 501-918-3760.
