ExxonMobil expanding
ULSD production

Dec 22, 2008 8:52 AM

ExxonMobil Refining and Supply, Fairfax VA, will invest more than $1 billion in three refineries to increase the supply of ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD) by about six million gallons per day, according to ExxonMobil information.

The company will construct new units and modify existing facilities at its Baton Rouge LA, Baytown TX, and Antwerp, Belgium, refineries.

"Our increase in diesel production at these three sites will be equal to the diesel produced from about four average-size refineries," said Sherman Glass, president, refining and supply.
