Diesel price rises 6 cents

The average price of diesel across the nation rose six cents last week to $2.551 per gallon, according to information from the Department of Energy.

The information also averages diesel prices by low sulfur (LSD) and ultra low sulfur (ULSD) fuel. Low sulfur diesel rose more than six cents from the week before (6.8 cents per gallon), topping out at $2.505. ULSD, at $2.571 per gallon, was 5.6 cents per gallon higher than the week before.
