Diesel price rises a cent

The average price of on-road diesel rose just over a cent across the nation last week, registering $2.898 cents per gallon at the pump.
Low sulfur diesel was up 1.5 cents per gallon at $2.846 while ultra low sulfur diesel was $2.910 per gallon, a 1.1 cents per gallon increase from the week before.
Diesel prices continue to remain below last year's summer high when the average for all diesel topped out at $2.980 per gallon.
