Average diesel price
falls just over cent

The average price of diesel fell slightly over a cent last week to $4.603 per gallon, according to information from the Department of Energy.
The average price of low sulfur diesel was $4.512 per gallon, also a little over a cent lower than the week before. Ultra low sulfur diesel was just over a cent lower at $4.614 per gallon.
The highest average in the nation was in California at $4.869 per gallon. The Midwest felt the least pinch at $4.518 per gallon.
