Detroit Diesel launched the first of its new, four-part driver training video series. Available at www.DetroitDiesel.com and www.youtube.com/DemandItAll, the videos were developed to help drivers enhance their engineís performance.
The four videos include general product background on Detroit Dieselís DD13, DD15, and DD16 family of engines; guidelines on driving for optimal fuel economy and power; specifics on BlueTec SCR Emissions Technology; detailed information about diesel exhaust fluid (DEF); and updates on DDEC, Detroit Dieselís proprietary electronic engine monitoring system.
The videos also provide step-by-step guidance for drivers on using Detroit Dieselís products; as well as provide information on driving trucks with older vs. the newer engine models, detailing the differences in engine characteristics that drivers need to know.
The new videos are part of Detroit Dieselís extensive library of multi-media resources available at www.DetroitDiesel.com, www.youtube.com/DemandItAll and www.Facebook.com/DemandDetroitDiesel. Detroit Diesel offers a variety of tools, such as videos, literature and podcasts, to help drivers and fleet managers improve engine performance.
