New Orleans I-10 bridge span reopens

The west span of the I-10 Twin Spans Bridge in New Orleans LA is scheduled to reopen today (January 6), restoring four-lane traffic to the east-west corridor devastated by Hurricane Katrina, according to information from the Department of Transportation.
The first phase of repairs reopened the east span to two lanes of traffic October 14.
