FBT Operations wins Australian safety award

FBT Operations Pty Ltd has won the Australian Plastics and Chemical Industry Association Health and Safety sector award. Other nominees for the award included Atofina Australia, Orica Australia, Qenos Australia and R Max. FBT was noted for handling storage, delivering and unloading of hydrogen peroxide on behalf of Degussa New Zealand Pty Ltd and Solvay Interox Pty Ltd.

FBT was founded in 1972 and operates hazardous materials facilities in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. The company is a provider of liquid storage and distribution services to customers in the chemical, agricultural, plastics, edible oils, and waste stream sectors. It operates a fleet that includes tank trailers and tank containers.
