American Trucking Associations has put out a call for nominations for the eighth annual Mike Russell Trucking Industry Image Award.
The award, first handed out in 2006, honors trucking companies, state associations, and industry suppliers that creatively generate positive awareness of the trucking industry. And for the third straight year, the Russell Award is sponsored by TMW Systems Inc.
“As our industry continues to make great strides in safety and environmental sustainability while continuing to play an essential role in the US economy, there has never been a more important time to tell our story,” said ATA President and CEO Bill Graves. “Each year, we look to honor those carriers, state associations, and allied companies that go the extra mile to promote this industry that we are all so proud of.”
Submissions will be evaluated by an impartial panel of judges based on creativity, execution, and impact. All submissions must be received by the image campaign no later than September 11, 2014. Winners will be announced in October during ATA’s annual Management Conference & Exhibition in San Diego CA.
