Michelin joins ATA's Share the Road program

Michelin Americas Truck Tires has joined Mack Trucks Inc and Chevron Delo as a major sponsor of the American Trucking Associations Share the Road highway safety program.
Since 2000, with initial funding from Mack Trucks and additional funding in 2005 from Chevron Delo, the program has been delivering the trucking industry’s safety message, according to ATA.
At each public event across the nation, million-mile, accident-free professional truck drivers simulate real life highway situations to illustrate their car-truck safety lessons.
The visits include highway ride-alongs for local news media to provide them with a look at local driving habits from a truck driver’s point of view.
