Trimac acquires Logex

Trimac Equipment Leasing Inc, Houston TX, has acquired the assets and business of Logistics Express Inc (Logex), Orange CA.
Logex, an operation with $80 million in revenue in 2006, was founded in 1972. Most of the 500 drivers and office personnel employed by Logex will become Trimac employees.
Trimac, through its related entities, acquired 27 branches in 17 states, as well as one branch in Alberta, Canada. The US assets and business of Logex were acquired by Trimac, while the Canadian assets and business will be integrated into the western Canadian operations of a related entity of Trimac.
