Chicago Rawhide offers an internal oil separator for its line of Brakemaster air dryers. The oil separator fits inside any of the CR air dryers and can be purchased along with a new air dryer or retrofitted to an existing CR air dryer installation. This separator extracts oil from the air system, protecting both the desiccant bed and downstream air system components.

Self-cleaning and efficient, the oil separator is beneficial for heavy braking applications found in transit systems, off-highway fleets and over the road operations. It extends desiccant life, which results in savings based on longer service intervals and reduced component replacement costs.

Made from stainless steel, the oil separator has a self-cleaning filter media that removes oil with its three-micron filter. The separator is mounted integrally with a CR air dryer.
