Maptuit Corp has formed an alliance with Navigation Technologies. The companies are working together to develop an enhanced trucking attribute product for the North American road network.

Maptuit's FleetNav Suite helps trucking companies increase efficiencies and improve their bottom line through intelligent routing, fuel optimization, and fleet monitoring capabilities. In addition, Maptuit has developed a proprietary trucking network database to help the professional driver safely navigate along North American roads. This database includes truck specific attributes such as truck-approved roads, location of tolls, hazardous roads, low clearance and weight restrictions, and location of fuel stops. The database is constantly updated through live feedback received from Maptuit customers.

Navigation Technologies has built a map database in which every road segment has up to 160 data attributes such as access restrictions, one-way streets, and speed categories that help optimize navigation.
