TMW Systems Inc, Cleveland OH, a provider of enterprise management software to the North American transportation industry, has acquired TMT Software Company, a provider of transportation fleet maintenance software.

"TMT Software has been a long-time business partner of TMW Systems, and this combination creates a unique opportunity for both TMT and TMW customers," David W Wangler, president and CEO of TMW Systems, stated in a news release. "With more than 550 customers, managing 1.1-million pieces of equipment, TMT is a fleet maintenance software market leader in trucking, construction materials, waste, and municipal markets."

Rick Rosenberg, TMT Software president, will now serve as general manager of TMW Fleet Maintenance Software.

The acquisition increases the company's size to more than 1,500 customers and annual revenues in excess of $56 million. Together, the two companies share more than 235 customers. Current customers will be able to leverage a broad set of existing complementary products developed by both TMW Systems and TMT Software, according to the TMW information.
