Diesel takes aim
at $4 per gallon

The average price of onroad diesel takes aim at $4 per gallon, reaching $3.989 last week, according to the Department of Energy. That price is $1.313 per gallon more than for the same time last year.
Low sulfur diesel last week was up a fraction of a cent per gallon to $3.932. Ultra low sulfur diesel was ringing up at the pump at $3.998 per gallon, a 1.6 cents per gallon increase from the week before.
